BLACK SOUL

"Black Soul" is a visual and emotional expression of the hope of a boy growing up as a Black teenager. In his eyes, you can see a deep, sincere gaze, as if he is trying to transport us to another world, different from the one he himself inhabits here on Earth. That’s why his eyes sincerely look and open a childlike universe and dreams beyond our reality. This is exactly why I created this work from falling and flying droplets, which ultimately form his entire gaze and image. Each drop is one of his unfulfilled dreams, which will hopefully come true for him one day. The painting is about "Hope for a better life and the world we live in."

JELLYFISH SERIES

Series I - IV

I began creating this series together with the "Symbiosis" series as one unified whole. In it, I explore the unique relationship of this natural phenomenon—the jellyfish—which has fascinated me since childhood. The lightness of its movements, the variability of its shapes, their communication using fluorescent colors, and a sort of levitation in space... all of this seems almost otherworldly to me. It brings to mind thoughts of connection with a higher intelligence beyond our universe, which continues to be my endless source of inspiration.

Jellyfish Series is a captivating collection of five abstract artworks that burst with color against deep black canvases. Each piece in the series evokes the ethereal beauty of jellyfish, with vibrant, fluid palettes that mimic the delicate, floating forms of these oceanic creatures. The interplay of vivid colors and dark backgrounds creates a striking contrast, drawing the viewer into a mesmerizing dance of light and movement. The Jellyfish Series is a celebration of color and form, offering a dynamic visual experience that is both lively and enigmatic.

Who is Libor Antl?

Libor Antl is an artist experimenting with various painting styles, including watercolors, oil, resin, and varnishes, Libor Antl began solo exhibitions after years of refining his techniques in color blending and varnish layering. Since 2010, he has continued to evolve his methods, drawing inspiration from natural shapes, the universe, space, and time. His unique process lets colors work independently, creating abstract forms that he enhances with heat and varnishes, achieving sharpness and detail in the final artwork.
